Welcome to the website of Holmgate Primary and Nursery School
'I know they say good schools make good communities, but the truth of the matter is good communities make good schools' ~ Robert McClure
Thank you for visiting the Holmgate Primary School website and welcome back to all our children and families after what I hope was an enjoyable Easter holiday. We are all looking forward to the term ahead which is jam-packed with exciting events and celebrations, such as the King's Coronation, World Music Day which will see us host our first music festival 'GlastHOLMbury', sports days and of course, our Year 6 and Year 2 children showcasing their learning by taking part in their SATS.
For the remainder of the academic year, I will continue to be Acting Head Teacher and Mrs Guy will be Acting Deputy Head Teacher. Please do not hesitate to contact us or speak to us on the gate in a morning if you have a query, an issue or you just want a chat. We really are here to help.
