Westwood Farm 2019

During the first half of the Summer Term, Reception had the absolute privilege of being able to visit Westwood Farm. Westwood Farm is a working farm which is based in Ashover. These visits were led by Mr and Mrs Parsons, who work in conjunction with Natural England. We were able to visit the farm in small groups. During our visits we were afforded with the incredible opportunity to feed baby lambs, hold baby chicks, collect eggs and even go on a tractor ride! The children thoroughly enjoyed visiting the farm and the progression in terms of communication and language was phenomenal. Please see below a collection of photos from our visits.
